Paul Coe is the Chief Executive Officer of Birribee Housing, the state’s fastest-growing Aboriginal social housing provider. Birribee supports Aboriginal communities in Moree, Orange, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and across the Sydney Basin. Birribee is linked through its parent organisation to the network of Local Aboriginal Land Councils, the largest Aboriginal member-based structure in Australia. Paul is a Wiradjuri man, born and raised in Sydney amid the black power movement and schooled by key Sydney Aboriginal leaders in the fight for Aboriginal land rights and progression to Aboriginal self-determination.
