Michelle Debert is a qualified Social Worker with extensive experience working in homelessness services across Brisbane. Michelle manages a homelessness hub in Brisbane and works collaboratively across sectors to break down silos to work towards solving homelessness in our community together. Michelle has lived experience of homelessness, having slept rough for four years. Michelle worked on the front line in Homelessness and Domestic and Family Violence services then moved into a leadership role. Michelle believes her lived experience is a super power that enables her passion, commitment and ability to influence others to think and do differently which creates systems change. Michelle believes in transformational leadership, never giving up.
