Janet Saunders

Janet has an extensive 30 year career in the not-for-profit sector, with 22 of those years spent in various leadership and management positions. For the past eight years, she has specialised in the Family Violence and Homelessness sector. Janet contributes to the sector as a member of the State Government’s Family and Sexual Violence Consultative Committee and the Housing Connect Steering Committee. She is dedicated to transforming attitudes and behaviours that contribute to violence against women and is a strong advocate for creating trauma informed housing solutions, emphasising the importance of developing dedicated housing options for women and children.  Janet's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma in Human Resource Management, enhancing her expertise in these areas.
