Functional Zero Manager, Launch Housing

George Hatvani is the Functional Zero Manager for Launch Housing. He leads the establishment of ‘Zero’ projects utilising the A-to-Z framework across Metropolitan Melbourne as the Large-Scale Change Lead for Victoria on behalf of the Australia Alliance to End Homelessness.

Prior to this role, George was the Manager of Service Development and Research for HomeGround and Service Development for Launch Housing between 2009 and 2021 conducting and managing evaluation and research across private rental access, rough sleeping and homelessness outcomes. He also led work on consumer participation including across the North and Western LASN between 2010 and 2018, data management, program logics and the development of the Launch Housing Theory of Change.

George is currently nearing the end of his PhD at Swinburne University. His thesis is titled, “Ending homelessness in Naarm, the potential for a System Dynamics approach to provide greater understanding and policy directions for men sleeping rough”.
