Dr Deb Batterham

Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Centre for Urban Transitions, Swinburne University of Technology & Launch Housing

Deb holds a joint research position at the Centre for Urban Transitions at Swinburne University of Technology and Launch Housing – a Specialist Homelessness Service provider in Melbourne. She has been researching homelessness for 20 years and has a deep understanding of the specialist homelessness sector. He research has spanned topics such as the relationship between homelessness and private rental markets, the geography of homelessness, risk of homelessness, capabilities, mobility, crisis accommodation, disability, and more as well as numerous program evaluations. Deb is passionate about improving service delivery and policy to prevent, reduce and address homelessness.
