Delwyn Little

Delwyn Little is a proud Yamatji woman who was born in Mount Magnet in Western Australia.  She has lived through numerous significant challenges, including domestic violence, caring for young children while homeless, and surviving significant trauma.  She is a tireless advocate for people facing adversity, and her jobs have included mentoring young Aboriginal people and working in a refuge supporting women and children escaping domestic violence.  Del uses art and culture for healing and strength, and she was a participant in the Birdiya Maya Homelessness Research Project.  She is passionate about connecting with and helping Aboriginal people in any way she can.
