Shari McPhail

General Manager, Homelessness and Housing, WAYSS

Shari McPhail is the General Manager of Homelessness Support and Renter Services at wayss. With a background as the Director of Homelessness and Accommodation at the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), Shari brings over two decades of experience in the homelessness and housing sector. 

Throughout her career she has been dedicated to enhancing homelessness service provision, working towards improving access to social and affordable housing in various non-government and government roles. Shari holds a master’s degree in public policy and management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In her current role, Shari spearheads service development and design, crafting innovative and creative solutions to address homelessness and housing challenges throughout the southeast region.
